The case study that is the focus of this article based on a professional development opportunity provided for sessional staff who were recruited to School Education at research-intensive university in UK. Research literature demonstrates potential pitfalls both academic management and continuing group staff. Taking socio-constructive view teaching learning, we outline construction delivery an induction training programme supervise Masters dissertations. sessions characterised by active discussion among peers with knowledgeable specific areas under discussion. was evaluated online survey.
